Hubei Guangji Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Guangji Pharma) was founded in 1969 and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 1999. It is a state-owned high-tech enterprise with over 54 years of history, the only provincial-level pharmaceutical listed enterprise in Hubei Province, with Yangtze River Industrial Investment Group as its controlling shareholder. The company mainly produces Vitamin B2, B6, B12, Sodium Erythorbate, lactic acid and lactate series, gluconate series, starch series products, and pharmaceutical preparations. It is one of the world's major suppliers of Vitamin B2 products, and has two research institutes in Wuhan Optics Valley. It is one of the few domestic enterprises combining both biological fermentation and chemical synthesis technologies.
